"Lightweight" Doublebottoms
A two-axle power unit (tractor), pulls the three axle, dual (2) trailer
combination...
Key Benefits
 | "Lightweight" Doublebottoms: Capable of hauling an average of 27.8 tons
+/-. Generally used by the Ready-Mix Producer, Aggregate Plant Producer,
Asphalt Mix Producer with interplant needs, and the General Contractor who has
the site-specific On-Site Portable needs, along with those jobsites that need
lightweight volcanic type aggregates. This type of truck & trailer combination
is used for on-highway use only. Lightweight composites of steel, aluminum,
graphite and exotics create a truck & trailer combination that help us carry
those heavy loads, at a reduced cost for our customers.

shoulder or the jobsite location to be used in the building of roads, concrete
slabs, parking lots, airport runways and freeway lanes. This type of truck &
trailer combination is used for on & off highway use. Heavy-duty steel is used
in the construction of the trailers.
